About the Firm
Chase and Chase is a law firm comprised of three family members:Seymour Chase Seymour Chase, the father and his two sons, Bruce and Marc. Seymour was admitted to practice law in New Jersey in 1958. After a series of clerkships and associate positions, he hung his shingle, in Hackensack - where the firm has remained since the early 60's. In the early days of the practice, Seymour would take on any battle that crossed his desk. Bruce Chase

In the 70's, Seymour's first son, Bruce joined the firm, working with his dad while going to Rutger's law school; an invaluable internship which few other law school classmates had the benefit of. 

In the 80's, Seymour's younger son, Marc joined the firm while attending Seton Hall Law School - gaining the knowledge and wisdom of Seymour and Bruce's experience.Marc Chase  

As the firm grew, it became more specialized and Seymour and his sons narrowed the focus and concentration or their efforts. The firm now predominantly handles matters involving personal injury, family law - which includes divorce, custody, support and domestic violence cases, as well as land use (zoning and real estate development) and commercial work for local businesses and corporations. 

With nearly 100 years of combined experience, the clients of Chase and Chase have the benefit of a wealth of knowledge and a close, family unit working together.
